I must confess that editing a book is a little odd.  On the one hand it is really fabulous to work with so many authors.  You also get to shape a project without actually having to do the hardest work, writing it, yourself.

In the case of my book, Motherhood Online, that meant two things.   My own piece takes on BabyCenter.com the single largest online community of mothers in the world, but what I really wanted was someone to write on Dooce.com, the largest single mommy blog out there.  Unfortunately, Dooce is like the third rail of the mom-blogosphere, and no one was willing to risk her ire.  How Fab would it be, however, if either site reviewed the book 🙂
